Clive Curry BVSc CertAVP (optha)  GPCert( Neuro, ExAP) PgD MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon

Clive Curry graduated from Liverpool University in 1985. Vets often hear "I don’t know how you do your job”, well for Clive, as a child growing up in Shelton,  attending Oakhill High School with good grades, good practical skills, a love of animals and a dedication to hard work there was never any doubt. After graduating Clive went into mixed practice. The pitter patter of tiny feet directed Clive to open his own business, and the Willow Veterinary Clinic was born from his family home in Endon. The practice was mixed (small animal, farm animal and equine) until 1997, when Clive reluctantly ceased to undertake large animal work. Since then the business has grown and developed with a huge emphasis on veterinary continued professional development and training, with reinvestment in people, skills and equipment to become the practice you see today, with 3 centres. Clive’s emphasis from the outset was to provide the best standard of general practice for animals, and a good quality of life for all staff doing their chosen vocation, and this remains valid today.

Clive’s main interests are ophthalmology, neurology, and exotic animal practice in which he holds post-graduate certificates and hopes to achieve advanced practitioner status in ophthalmology in the near future. Clive is an experienced surgeon and has an interest in orthopaedics, especially orthopaedic salvage surgery and oncological surgeries. He also enjoys helping and training younger vets and is always very keen to help them avoid the many potholes he has found himself in over the years.
